Lisa Popkov

UROP - Summer 2020

My name is Lisa Popkov and I am an incoming sophomore double majoring in Data Science and Finance. Over the summer I am working with observations of the exoplanet WASP-80b obtained with the Magellan Telescope in Las Campanas, Chile, to gain insight into the planet’s atmosphere. The goal of the UROP is to use transmission spectroscopy and preexisting pipelines to analyze the exoplanet data.
