DISRUPTIVE PLANETS
discovering and studying new worlds to consolidate our understanding of planets and habitats.
Sammy Hasler
My name is Samantha Hasler and I am a Planetary Science graduate student in EAPS at MIT. My
research interests include planetary atmospheres, multi-planet systems, and habitability. My current projects include: studying methods of using exoplanet orbital phase and color to support orbit deconfusion in direct images of multi-planet systems and contributing
to the development of a pipeline to reduce SPECULOOS images to search for Solar System small bodies. When not doing research, I enjoy cooking, playing piano, and spending time outside.
